An Adventurous Evening - 1951

I enjoyed this little story - it reminded me of the sort of adventure The Magnificent Seven might have:

It's a super little adventure story Pete, I have it in Enid Blyton's Sunshine Book.

I enjoyed reading that Pete. Thanks.

That £350 ring would be over £7,500 today.

I guess your 'Secret Secret' should have been 'Secret Seven' :D

I also know the story from Enid Blyton's Sunshine Book, Kate. It's full of atmosphere and excitement - a gripping mini adventure. I was amazed that the children ended up eighty miles from where they started. They must have been in the car, frightened and uncomfortable, for quite some time!

Image Now I'm more confused, Pete, I thought that seven were cowboys?

 Reckon it's more than the air that's been getting to him (or that he's been getting to). :P

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
