R.I.P. Steve Harley

Post by Wolfgang »

I was sorry to learn that Steve Harley passed away. I have a soft spot for some of his songs (Sebastian, Tumbling down).

I was sad too, although I was surprised to see he was in his 70s, I'd assumed he wasn't that much older than me.

The only song I know of his is 'Come up and see me', which is a favourite of mine.

I noticed that he lived on the Suffolk/Essex border, so who knows, I may even have seen him out and about locally but didn't realise.

I absolutely loved 'Come up and see me' and listen to it often (might put it on now in tribute, indeed). I was sorry to see that he had died.
