Re: RIP Paul O'Grady
What sad news. I've seen Paul O'Grady on TV many times over the years, and Tony and I were due to see him on stage in Annie next month (playing Miss Hannigan). RIP Paul O'Grady.

Such sad news. He will be missed by many. His love and devotion to animals was outstanding, and the work he did for Battersea.
He was due to start on his new radio show - Boom Radio, I believe on Easter Sunday. His death was so sudden, so my heart goes out to all who knew him personally. R.I.P.

Yes, that was my first thought about it to be honest.Julie2owlsdene wrote: ↑29 Mar 2023, 09:51 Such sad news. He will be missed by many. His love and devotion to animals was outstanding, and the work he did for Battersea...
As a performer, I don't remember watching any of his entertainment shows. But I was aware of his love for animals and watched some of his shows about that. And I was grateful for all the hard work he did to help and support animal charities.

What a shock, so sudden and unexpected. How fragile life truly is. They've been mentioning on Boom all week about him doing an Easter show on there and I could have seen him having a regular slot too. Such a shame. I know he's well remembered for Lily Savage but as someone who loves dogs as much as he did I remember him most fondly for his Battersea show and work for animal charities. God bless him.
