Lucky Star

Post by Lucky Star »

Hi all. I’ve been absent from the forums for a few days. Unfortunately my father passed away last Thursday and was buried yesterday. I will return to the forums just as soon as I can.

Yes, very sorry to hear your sad news.
I'm also looking after elderly parents - with my mum, especially, struggling in recent times. And I'm dreading anything happening so can fully understand how you must be feeling.
As others have said, my thoughts are with you.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Hi. Just a quick thanks you to all you wonderful people for your condolences both here and privately. All of your messages really helped a lot. It's been a fairly exhausting two weeks with a lot to arrange, sort out and take care of but I'm back home now and will be picking up normal life as far as possible from here on.

So very sorry for your loss, John.
