Charlie Watts

Post by Lucky Star »

The BBC has reported that Charlie Watts, the Rolling Stones drummer, has died at the age of 80. Another dreadful loss to the music industry. Charlie was in the Stones from the outset and contributed to all of their classic records. He will be sadly missed by many. RIP Charlie Watts.

I agree wholeheartedly, John: the death of Charlie Watts is another dreadful loss to the music industry. He was a great drummer who contributed to the success of all the classic tracks recorded by the Rolling Stones. RIP Charlie Watts.

A great drummer who loved jazz and performed with a minimalist kit compared to some of his contemporaries. Such a sad loss to the music industry and all of us who loved to hear the Stones play. RIP Charlie and thanks for the beat.
