Well, someone has beaten me to the taste test and it's a big test indeed!
In todays video I am giving my followers from Tiktok what they want and trying every caterpillar cake I could find from every supermarket around my area. This is probably my most random video yet.

*The blind taste test contains some expletives, so please don't watch if that is not acceptable.

Seems that Colin is nothing to boast about! I must admit I've never tried any of the caterpillar cakes myself.

Perhaps we should do a taste in?

I am intrigued if you can trademark a cake because unless you're using a very specific piece of branding that is M&S's I can't see any different than had you as thousands do sat in the kitchen making your own

In my local Co-op yesterday I saw what looked like their own version of the caterpillar cake.

I'm wondering why M & S have taken Aldi to task over copying and not any of the other supermarkets?

Colin the Caterpillar isn't as innocent as previously thought. Thanks to Eddie for uncovering dubious photos of the creature.... :D

I think Aldi have brought their cake back and are donating all sales proceeds to charity.

Whilst this is very honourable on Aldi's part, I agree, why have M&S decided to just pick on just Aldi when there are caterpillar cakes in so many major supermarkets? :?

I can't see the pictures either. Maybe Eddie decided to delete them?

Having checked my emails, I've had an amusing email from Eddie which shows a picture of a caterpillar cake along with another picture of a plain Swiss roll. The photos are captioned "Colin the Caterpillar facing the sack after nude photos appear online."

Did Eddie think he would be banned from the forum if he posted the 'nude' picture on here?

I would have posted it, but I'm afraid I don't know how to, John. :(
