Obviously I don't know what the EBS pays per annum for its hosting, but I pay less than £100 a year for my own hosting plan with a company in the USA, and I have unlimited disk space (see image) and bandwidth for that, as well as the hosting of unlimited domains and email addresses should I want them. I do have several websites all operating under the same account. To me, less than £2 a week - not even the price of a pint, as they say - is not much to pay even for a hobby, which is what mine is. At the moment, the user images uploaded by the members of my forum website alone number in excess of 15,000 and occupy just under 3.5 GB of disk space. There are also several thousand images on other websites I have.Moonraker wrote:I use Imgur now and find it easy. It must be remembered that this isn't just a forum. As Anita said, it already has, being a h u g e website, has countless images loaded and disk space must be humungous.Anita Bensoussane wrote: Our website is already large and images which are added in that way take up disk space. I'm afraid we came to the conclusion that we'll have to stick with people uploading their images to picture-hosting sites - at least for the time being.

I have never tried a caterpillar cake but I want to now - the Aldi version as M&S is too expensive.

Yes, me too!
I have even been checking out the naked caterpillar cakes (swiss rolls) in the supermarket when I visit them.
You can't beat a slice of swiss roll and a cup of tea - I also like the chocolate swiss roll too.

I also like a slice of Swiss roll and a cuppa, Pete. My choice would be a slice of coffee Swiss roll.
Delicious!

I did mention to Keith what you said about your website before, John (Boatbuilder). The technical side of things is in his hands and I'm afraid I don't know about details like hosting and costs.
Although I drink coffee (only instant!), sadly I'm not a fan of coffee-flavoured things, Eddie. I wouldn't mind trying one of the chocolate caterpillars at some point though, whatever the effect on bandwidth!
