It was indeed a wonderful day.
My husband had a very romantic anniversary card for me (and I had one for him). Later chocolate-covered strawberries arrived (he knows that I like them much more than red roses
).We didn't go out due to the pandemic, but celebrated with a bottle of Piper Heidsieck champaign at night. The very first time that we tried Piper Heidsieck was in October 2008 on a nightly bâteau mouche cruise on the Seine in Paris. Ever since we celebrate with Piper Heidsieck.
