Little and Large was always one of my favourite shows for everyday humour and I for one will miss him.

Sad news. I used to love Little and Large. It's been years since I've seen it. RIP Eddie Large.

RIP Eddie Large. I too used to like watching The Little and Large Show.

Another figure from my childhood, and the first to be taken by this awful disease.

I'm not exactly fluent in Little and Large, but I can remember at least two sketches that made me smile. One featured a stunt car driving along on two wheels. Eddie gets out when it stops, and Syd asks "When did you start driving like that?" Eddie replies "When I got that," and points to a wheelclamp!

Secondly, I can't remember the exact details but it went along these lines. Eddie and Syd are in a bar both trying to impress a young woman. She asks what reg car they each have. Syd says a letter from a few years ago. Eddie says the letter from the latest year. The woman agrees to be taken home by Eddie. They walk out into the car park and pass Syd's gleaming Rolls Royce, and go up to Eddie's clapped out old banger from the 1960s (when the registration letter was at the other end of the number plate). And the woman wails "You never told me your car was twenty years old!"

Yes, R.I.P. Eddie.

I can almost see those two sketches, Stephen. You described them brilliantly.

So sad to hear that Eddie Large has passed away. What a shame. I can remember watching the Little and Large show religiously as a teen. Great fun. Fabulous talent. R.I.P. Mr Large.
