Re: Happy Birthday Boatbuilder!
Thanks, Anita. I think they will be starting to set the wheels in motion towards that goal this week, but not sure what the timescale is likely to be at the moment. Hopefully I will find out more tomorrow.

Chrissie google 'cat birthday gif' and then go to images. It should be somewhere near the top.
BB I wish your wife all the best for a speedy recovery and hope she is back home with you as soon as possible .

Re: Happy Birthday Boatbuilder!
Thank you, IceMaiden.
Our daughter and myself had a very fruitful visit to Enid this afternoon when we also met her occupational therapist and we were informed that the doctor has now confirmed her medically fit for discharge and tomorrow she is due to start with a physio to start her physical wellbeing which will continue at home once they have been able to lay on the necessary additional care arrangements that will be required.
One other thing we learnt today is that a chest infection she had, which we were aware of, had also developed into a pneumonia. We knew she was being given antibiotics but hadn't been made aware that they were for pneumonia.
Hopefully she will be home within a week, but of course that depends on the care side of things

So sorry I missed your birthday, John! I'm very glad to hear Enid is improving and hopefully will be able to go home soon. Wishing you both all the best.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Thank you, Courtenay. I'm not sure how the timetable will work out but as four DA's a day are being planned it could take a little longer than normal to get things into place.

Re: Happy Birthday Boatbuilder!
That looks like my cat, Slinky - who is currently curled up asleep with me in a very similar pose!
(I called him Slinky based on the furtive way he used to 'slink' about the garden when he was a scared, thin stray. After taking him in, he soon became a fat, lazy cat and the name was a lot less apt ).
