Eddie, in any case attend we could one last EBS gathering in May 2020 when we'll go to Dorset, Cornwall and Devon (or possibly even next year, but it would have to be before 12th of May which might be too early for the other forumites?).
Is there any possible location north of London for a gathering as we'll drive from London up to the Yorkshire Dales first?

Sixret, Cody stays at a wonderful dog kennel in the middle of a large wood near Barre, Massachusetts. They love him there and he has been at the Fox Run Kennel many times.
Dogs are not allowed to enter the UK without quarantine and we also wouldn't force a 7 hour flight onto him.
There should be one thread from our 2014 meeting at Bourne End at the Spade Oak when we also visited Old Thatch.
Yes, my back pain was gone after Easter. Thank you.
Cody is a white German shepherd. He'll turn 4 years in October. Unfortunately I cannot upload any photos in EBS.

Courtenay, I suggested a meeting in May 2019. If it's close to London, we'll be there.
I have no idea how long a drive it would be to Bourne End though.

Bourne End isn't very far from London, but it depends which part of London you're starting from! I live just outside the eastern edge of Greater London — the opposite side from Bourne End — and it would take me probably about an hour and a half to drive to Bourne End with average traffic. If you were coming from central or western London, it would probably be much quicker.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I’m confused, Chrissie. Which year will you be able to attend a meeting? In your first post you say May 2020 and in the second one you say May 2019.
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.
Sorry for the confusion, Eddie.
Here's my post:

It must be the language barrier. I intended to say that we might be able to come to gatherings in 2019 and 2020. BTW 2020 will be the last time. We'll retire in 2021 and from that point on no longer can afford trans-atlantik flights.

Oh, that's a shame about not coming over to the UK when you retire, Chrissie! I shall try to make it to a meet up in 2019/2020, assuming you can make it.
