Oh yes, I saw those this morning. Some amazing photos there, but I definitely wouldn't have the patience to take 160 photos of anything, let alone slime mould, and edit them all together!!

Superb photos! The picture of the frogs is my favourite, I think, but they're all brilliant.
In my local area the magnolias are looking wonderful at the moment, and I've seen a few butterflies (Brimstones and Peacocks) and bats this week.
Last month I was at my mum's in Wales and I saw a blackcap on her bird table. Its cap was brown instead of black and I realised that it must be a female - I'd only ever seen male blackcaps before.

I don't think she managed to assemble a montage of 160 shots to make "that" one...

I wasn't referring to that particular image but to all the rest. At least the photographer of that particular image 'confessed' to how the image was created. So many images these days are re-touched and/or adjusted digitally with 'Photoshop' and other enhancement software just to get the desired effect that you never really know if they are what the photographer actually saw when he or she took the original image.

Magnolias aren't blooming yet in northern Germany but I've seen pictures from southern regions where they are already blooming. The local magnolias have blossoms but they're still closed.
I liked the images in the link two. The starling was magnificent but the frogs and the fox are nice too. I usually don't associate foxes with tree climbing.
The white and pale pink magnolias are in full bloom in parks and gardens near me, but the deep pink magnolias aren't quite out yet. I took some photos a few days ago and put them on Facebook. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to put any photos on here after having problems with Photobucket and Imgur.
When I lived in Essex, foxes came into the garden quite regularly. They could climb a 7-foot fence and walk along the top, and they also used to get up onto the shed roof and sunbathe. They're not neat, agile climbers like cats, but with a bit of scrabbling and scrambling they can climb fairly high.
The photo of the fox in the tree is gorgeous and I think the one of the starling is stunning too, Hannah.

Magnolias are now blooming in Northern Germany too. There are several on a way of only a few hundred meters. These trees include the biggest magnolia I've ever seen. (There's a car on the left to give you an idea about the size.)
I love magnolia trees. I used to annoy my children when they were little, as whenever I passed one, I'd comment on how much I like them.
There was a particularly lovely one just around the corner to my house, but sadly when new people moved in, they cut it down. I do understand why they did it though, as it was a large tree in quite a small garden, so probably blocked daylight from their room.

When I was a child our neighbours had a magnolia too but I'm not sure if it is still there.
The big magnolia from the photo has lost its blossoms by now but there are some small magnolias with blossoms in a darker pink that flourish later and are now nice to look at.
