I had a lovely day and despite not being able to really go anywhere, I enjoyed myself tremendously listening to the all day Popmaster that was on for bank holiday!
It was strange not to get an Enid Blyton book this year though!

I got a fair few Katharine. I'm a bit of a Popmaster nut, I always stop for it every morning and on the odd occasions I can't I'll get it on catchup! The questions can be very hit and miss though, 60's-70's I usually do best with and some 80's, anything from 90's onwards forget it! It's why I won't phone in to have a go, I'd probably get stuck with 'hits from the 2000's' or something

I may not have had a book on my birthday but I've just bought myself one after spotting a copy of the Animal Lover's Book in a nice dustjacket for £30 on Stella & Rose's site! I've not been able to get any books since the lockdown started and I've been after a copy of this for months so it seemed to good to miss..I'm helping kick-start the economy again
