Nigel, I sure wish I had more time. But I try to put our dog in his crate after 12 p.m. to make him catch up on his constant lack of sleep and then sit at my computer to catch up on the many unanswered e-mails, EBS posts and other forum posts that tend to pile up in my inboxes. And in-between I check the puffin cam, I don't deny that.
Only somebody who's NOT enchanted by puffins could make such a heartless remark!
There are young puffins and old puffins, hopefully baby puffins very soon, seagulls, the gorgeous view on Alderney and Castle Clonque (on the right), humungous rabbits at night when it's dark on Burhou...for me it's just never getting dull. And soon enough the weeds in front of the web cam will grow so high that you can no longer watch the wildlife on Burhou and then you have to wait until next April...
Nigel, please explain to a non-British person what "application" actually does mean in this context.
I only know that it's a form that you have to fill out.
