This Burhou webcam is great, I already seen the famous giant rabbit earlier today and various Seagulls taking a stroll but so far no Puffins. :D

Can you locate Castle Clonque?

Yes, the giant rabbit keeps impressing me. He is active since last spring (at least). It's cute when you see these gleaming/glaring eyes and he hops to the left and then to the right and after a while a bit closer to the web cam munching on the grass.

It's noontime at the US East Coast (5 p.m. in the UK) and there are 5 puffins in the right background. I think I've never seen as many at the same time :)!

Thanks for posting, Chrissie. I've just logged on and can see three puffins at the moment.

Thanks for the message, Chrissie. It's great to see the Puffins at last! I love seeing them stretch their wings right back! There are quite a few now and they seem to be getting closer and closer to the camera!

I counted thirteen puffins at one time - and the rabbit has just popped up in the bottom right-hand corner!

Plenty of puffin activity this evening. They're all out for the start of the Bank Holiday weekend.

I can see a few puffins wandering around still. And a seagull. And lots of bluebells. :D

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Walter, it all seems to depend on the right timing.
I spent hours in that puffin cam from Burhou Island last spring and remember that between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. UK time the puffins seem to be the most active and outside of their burrows. Especially on dry days.
When it's dark you can also watch the giant rabbit, but it moves slowly and it takes quite some patience until the rabbit is getting closer to the webcam, because it keeps grazing.

BTW in a few weeks the weeds on Burhou Island will be so tall that the puffin cam no longer works (they don't mow the lawn :)). So this is only a matter of several weeks where we can watch these puffins.
Good luck!
