Ah my mistake. You had me fooled there. Not very difficult to fool me.

Count me in as an ABBA fan. :D The Winner Takes It All would probably be my favourite, but there are many other songs by them that I love. Lay Your Love on Me is a great one. One of my most treasured possessions is the ABBA Story CD and limited-edition book. I also have the Arrival album on cassette! And bits and pieces of other albums on MP3, including Swedish versions of Waterloo (the song with which they first rose to prominence) and Honey Honey. And I've been to see Mamma Mia live and have the movie on DVD too. :)
Best Regards

I love ABBA too: even as a kid in the late 70's, where I lived it semed quite COOL to like them, and we used to sing their songs all the time and play them at parties 8) I particularly like 'Slipping Through My Fingers', 'When all is Said and Done', 'Winner takes it all', 'The Day Before You Came' and 'Knowing Me Knowing You', but I actually like them all. :D
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

I've moved your post from 'Last Song You Listened To', Bannerman, as the interviews look great and I think they'll get more views here.
Anita Bensoussane wrote:My favourite song would have to be My Love, My Life but I also like When All is Said and Done, The Winner Takes it All, The Day Before You Came, Our Last Summer, Andante Andante, I Let the Music Speak , I've Been Waiting for You and Like an Angel Passing Through My Room. Beautiful melodies and harmonies, sung with great feeling.
I forgot to mention Slipping Through My Fingers, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Under Attack and Knowing Me, Knowing You. I've also listened to some of the unreleased songs on YouTube and I particularly like Just Like That and Hamlet. Hamlet definitely seems to have been a work in progress, as it starts off as an instrumental but then has some lovely verses with lyrics:

Looking at my earlier posts, I think I must have been drinking before I wrote them. :|

I never really took much notice of their music...But I did take a lot of notice of the Blonde Girlie singer! Certainly a teen crush, for sure! :D

I'm happy to admit my liking of ABBA, (and pretty much all the songs on those "songs you don't admit to liking" type of tv programmes). I confess I'm not so vocal about E.B (except on this forum). Which brings me to a, slightly off topic, question. When the Society journals are sent out how are they packaged? Feel a bit awkward asking that.

Everyone likes Abba. My favourite has always been Knowing Me Knowing You. I can't stand Fernando, though.

They always come in a big sparkly gold envelope with ENID BLYTON FANATICS UNITED (the Society's real name, of course) stamped on it in huge letters.

(Only kidding. The Journals come in plain packaging with no giveaways as to its origin or contents. Honest. )

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
