Although not a Roc I believe 'lingo' to mean language - usually applied to people
who speak in a particular way so that we know who they are without seeing
their name. Does this make sense?!

Lingo originally referred to a foreign language. People would say that they had to learn the local lingo if they were to visit a foreign country. It now seems to have evolved to mean, simply, language.

Does this mean that things are no longer 'wicked'?

??? :?

Still could be worse. I had a shock the other day when I sat down to use the computer. On the desk beside the keyboard was a piece of typed work with hand written notes all over it. Several times the 'f' word appeared on it, along with a few other words that never normally appear in our house!!! It turns out it was part of my daughter's A Level English course work. She had watched an entire series of The Only Way is Essex, and had to transcribe sections of it, and analyse patterns within the conversations etc. It would appear it is littered with expletives. At the moment she is predicted a grade 'C', but I think she deserves at least an 'A' for having to sit through all those episodes of TOWIE!

Sorry Abi, this has nothing to do with your birthday I know. Hope you enjoyed your cakes.

I watched it as well with my daughter and grandaughter and they didn't
like the endingeither - it seemed very downbeat. There should have been
a revolution at the very least.
