Hello Julie,

Thank you very much. It was indeed a lovely day and now my husband is almost done with nailing the tall sides of the bookcase and then put it at the wall.

How are you doing, Julie?
I hope you'll be soon better.

Hi Katherine and Francis,

Here is the link for my new Blyton Bookcase pictures (206 books total):

http://www.enidblyton.net/yahoo/showinfo.php?user=34" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

BTW I did put them in the website starting with the bottom shelf and working my way up so that later on the pics start with the top shelf and go down to the bottom shelf. But somehow the Enid Blyton Yahoo Members website made a mess of it and now they are no longer in chronological order. Sorry for that.

Fortunately I had saved the Yahoo photo section link of EBS/enidblyton.net members in my bookmarks.
I just noticed that there is no access to the members pics from enidblyton.net.
But maybe I mixed that up with the former Yahoo Blyton Group and we had the access there?

If you look at my pics, you might notice a few spaces. I did that on purpuse to later put the missing books in-between.

Yes, 9 old hardcover books with dustwrappers are indeed missing, Francis, and I hope I can order them in 2016, because in 2014 and 2015 we plan two trips to Europe which will be quite expensive.

The missing titles are
- Five go off to Camp
- Five get into a Fix
- Five are together again
- Mystery of the Disappearing Cat
- Mystery of the Missing Man
- Mystery of the Strange Messages
- Mystery of Banshee Towers
- Ragamuffin Mystery
- Secret Seven (1949, 1st volume)

I'm not particularly searching for first editions, but would like them as old as possible...from the 50's.

If you would one or two in a thrift store and keep them for me until EB Day 2014, I would be very thankful.

Should be able to find some of these at reasonable prices, Chrissie - early editions, dustwrappers not expensive. Will do my best!

Hi Francis, click on my link once more and now the pics are in chronological order starting at the bottom and ending on top of the bookcase. I also wrote some text below the 14 photos. You have to scroll down and under Durdle Door they start. Hope you'll like them.

I'm usually spending £ 5 to £ 7 per book. Thanks for checking for them :).

Katharine, it took me hours of hard work. :D :D :D
Just kidding.
Actually I enjoyed doing it very much.

I wish next year could be taking place at Loddon (sp?) Hall again with the many booths and Blyton books sellers. I guess my chances would be pretty good to return back home with all 9 missing titles.

Lovely, lovely photos, Chrissie. How beautiful it all looked in Dorset. Very impressed with how
organised you are with your books - puts me to shame. All I've got is just piles of books - we must get our cellar converted and put in bookshelves. Turn it into am Enid Blyton land!

Chrissie
Just realised that we will be in Jersey from 12th to 17th May next year (holiday organised by my old workplace travel club) so might even see you there! Otherwise hopefully at Old Thatch sometime before then.

Francis, I have twice as many books as are in my many bookcases in our house. The remaining books I stored in 7 or 8 large plastic containers on the attic. It's hard for me to part with good books, so I keep them even though I might never read them again.
