What is your favourite drink (hot or cold)?
Re: What is your favourite drink (hot or cold)?
Prompted by this thread, this afternoon I actually bought a bottle of a drink I haven't had since I was about 12 and then only a few times ever - TIZER! And my immediate opinion is that it's fairly nice but nothing special.

I bought Tizer earlier today too, solely because it was on special offer and so was half the price Irn Bru would have been. Like you, I think it's okay but nothing to write home about.

I was only correcting Nigel! There's Iron Brew, and Irn Bru, as far as I know there's no drink in between! Irn Bru is the real drink, accept no substitutes!

People of a certain age may remember this Tizer advert with the late David Rappaport. But be careful! CATCHY SONG ALERT!!

Re: What is your favourite drink (hot or cold)?
I always got Irn Bru and Tizer confused as well, which is weird cos when I tasted them both again as an adult I realised that they did not taste anything at all alike, unless their flavours have been changed.
Don't get me started on Dr Pepper. Vile stuff.

I don't like Dr Pepper either. Though I do like Irn Bru and Purple Tizer.

PURPLE tizer? I've never heard of that! Other than being purple, does it differ from ordinary Tizer?

They did Red Tizer, Purple Tizer and Green Tizer for a while at least, they all had a different taste.
