I strongly dislike cherry cola so your spelling of 40p was spot on

I honestly can't tell the difference between different types. I'd love to try a really, really expensive one one day to see if it tasted any better than they cheapo stuff, tho!
Someone bought me a bottle of 'proper' champagne for my 21st birthday, but being the unsophisticated family we are, we only had a small polite glass each so as not to offend the person who bought it. The rest sadly ended up being tipped down the sink.

Ah, Old Peculier is a great favourite of mine. Just finished my supply of Tanglefoot! For a really tasty pint, try Fuller's ESB. :D
I'll put that next on my 'to try' list. :D

I had Dandelion and Burdock the other day for the first time in years. Something of an acquired taste, but I quite like it!

Sundays don't usually count for Lent but maybe it depends on how you observe it.

When I'm in Britain I will have to try some of these beers mentioned (Fuller's ESB), if I can remember the names (When in Rome etc.)
We don't have a choice like that here, as far as I'm aware. Plenty of wine estates though. And rooibos tea.

Why isn't plain water listed? That's my favorite beverage. At least that's what I drink most often! :) Of the beverages listed, I checked milk, lemonade, hot chocolate, and wine. I drink soda only if my stomach is feeling unsettled. Otherwise, I steer clear of it.

Becuase I remember having to cater for your tastes during your (getting less and less) recent trip down south.

Well mostly because we ate out most of the time! I remember the one time I had to cook for you!

I can't remember what I did end up cooking you now. Or even if we had the same thing!

Wasn't it a Jacket potato?

You made us all spag bol on the first night, and then one other night YOU were fussy and wouldn't eat a baked potato, so you had beans on toast?

And you're alive to tell the tale!!!

Oh yes I remember now. I was making it when we found out that the gig was cancelled!

Was I the fussy one that night? Maybe I just didn't fancy it!

Though I am rather a fussy eater- getting better now though!

Tea, hot chocolate and Coke for me.
