Thanks everyone for all my lovely birthday wishes.

It's been a great day so far. Lots of beautiful cards and some lovely presents. Including the 1st edition of The Castle of Adventure which I spotted in Sheringham a few weeks ago, and my parents kindly paid for. Also, a surprise present from a friend - a set of 12 Noddy and friends glitter stickers from the 1960s.

Spent the afternoon at a church fete. Won a gardening set. Bought a double audio tape of Five go to Billycock Hill and Five Get Into a Fix (1995) for 50p. Got a Ladybird book I've been after for ages for 25p.

It's even been sunny here.

Smells like there will be a cake later too. :D 'Spoilt rotten' is the phrase that's springing to mind now!

That's great, Katharine - hope you enjoy the rest of your birthday too - and then you must tell us all what the flavour of the cake was!

Happy Birthday, Katharine!

Sounds as though you're having a very enjoyable day and had some lucky finds at the fete!
