Thanks Sixret.
I sort of made a decision a while back to retire once I had reached a certain amount and leave some space for the next generation.

Yes, I considered retiring from the forums some time ago - once I had reached 20,000 posts. I have just passed my 12th anniversary and have probably nearly said all I can say on Enid's books.pete9012S wrote: I sort of made a decision a while back to retire once I had reached a certain amount and leave some space for the next generation.

Oh I don't know, Nigel - at your age you'll probably forget what you said and say it again.Moonraker wrote:Yes, I considered retiring from the forums some time ago - once I had reached 20,000 posts. I have just passed my 12th anniversary and have probably nearly said all I can say on Enid's books.

I should hate to see any of our forumites retire. From the forums that is.

Re: General Natter Room
me too! Its great to have everyone's different views, and because of the vast array of different ages, there are people who remember the original editions, the original magazines, etc right through to young people like Sunskriti and Maria Esther. A really good diversity of opinions and ages.

I'd also hate to see people retire from the forums. I hope there will always be new things to talk about in the world of Blyton - or fresh angles on old things!

Please don't. You just never know that some of your comments have made me chuckle, smile or even laugh out loud. And I enjoyed reading your postings when you put a new perspective, thoughtful remark to old threads. I have always liked you.

Please don't. I enjoyed reading most of your witty one-lined comments. Some of them really made me laugh out loud. I have known you through internet for so long since Yahoo group and for me you are always a synonym for Enid Blyton Society forum.Moonraker wrote:Yes, I considered retiring from the forums some time ago - once I had reached 20,000 posts.
