We didn't actually get snowed in, don't worry — it just stayed on the ground that day and the next and then got washed away by rain the following night. But I was driving through Derbyshire today and there were still snow patches on some of the hills in the Peak District!Julie2owlsdene wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 09:49 Thank you, Courtenay. You're lucky to have the snow so early. I remember it well, being snowed in back in my home land.

Thank you, everyone. I did get a lovely Blyton book from Eddie & Chick, Anita. And thank you so much for your card.

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE
Thank you, Anita and Katherine. I've had a lovely day, and my daughter surprised me today with a trip to London on Saturday, to stay overnight, so we can see the Christmas lights and the Christmas shops in London.
Thank you for your lovely card, Anita, and thanks to Tony for his cards also.
