Not quite initials, but a teacher of mine used to tell us about her friend who was training to be a doctor, and her surname was Martin. (The teacher had married to become Mrs Martin and so it formed a nice little link into that story, as the soon to be Doc(tor) Martin couldn't wait to be married so she would be Doctor Something Else.)
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

My parents once knew a dentist whose name was Dr Borer. Seriously, they say. 8)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Our local chiropodist is called Nurse Foot.
Enid Blyton was very good at giving suitable names to her characters - Mr Veal the butcher comes to mind for one.

Our dentist when I was little was called Dr Cherk - I think that was an anglicised spelling of his actual surname (he was Vietnamese), but it did always sound to me like the noise one makes with a whole lot of dental instruments shoved in one's mouth! (He was such a good and gentle dentist, mind you, that we kept going back to him for years after we moved some 70 miles away!)

I always liked the name of the Catholic Cardinal - 'Cardinal Syn' - he must have suffered a few
jokes in his time!

Enid was obviously rather more racy than we realised!

I thought it was well-known that Enid Blyton is "racy" and "sexy"!

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.
