Hope you have a lovely day.

I think my 21st must have been on a Monday as I had to miss my usual exercise class because the room was spinning after my lunch time trip to the local with my work colleagues.

Happy Birthday!! (for the third time today!) :D

Looking back my 21st was on a Saturday too!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Thank you all for your messages!
It's been a bit of a quiet day I must admitt, but those of you who have me on facebook, should know that I spent last night out at on of Paul Child Band's gigs. Then after they were on, they came and sat with us a good time was had by all.

So after yesterday, where there was rather too much drinking, amazing company, GREAT music, fabulous surprises, and very little sleep; a quiet low key day today was much needed.

My parents, my Nan and I went out to the posh Chinese restaurant not far from us and had a great meal; and after that I pretty much just collpased in a heap after opening my presents.

This evening has been alcohol free, but has consisted of hanging out with one of my closest friends at home and discussing the fun of last night's gig.

So all in all a great time has been had; this is certainly a very lovely birthday for me. Makes a change- usually they come and go.

Just a quick Thank you to Fiona made me a wonderful box, decorated with old pages from a couple of Famous Five books- I don't think I can do justice describing it but I'll post pictures if anyone is interested! :)
And of course, the Wonderful Anita who sent me a lovely card and a Enid Blyton magazine. That'll fill in an afternoon of two for me when I get a chance.

So thank you again everyone it really means a lot to me!
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.
