New Baby for Owls Dene

Post by Julie2owlsdene »

Hello everyone, just to let you know that my daughter, Sarah, gave birth this morning at 7.30am, to a baby boy, named Bradley. He was delivered safely at home and weighs 6lb - 14oz.

He was two weeks early, but everything went well, and mother and baby are fine. :D

Thanks Manzanita, this will be my fourth grandchild. I now have three grandsons and one grand-daughter.

Thanks, Anita, yes my face is like this :D. It's been all go since 6.00am this morning and I'm beginning to flag a bit, but still got plenty to do for Sarah this afternoon. :D

Many congratulations on the birth of your grandson, Julie. You, Sarah and the family must be as delighted as Chick and I were on Sunday when our very first grandchild was born. His name is Ben and he arrived at 12.42 am weighing in at 7lb 1oz. He is doing very well, as are his parents Neil (our son) and his wife, Julia. Thank you for your lovely message of congratulations and also to Alicia for her kind words. This Christmas is going to be a very special one for all my family, and I'm sure it will be for yours, Julie.

Thank you Boodi, and thank you Eddie, and for your lovely PM. We are all very lucky grandparents this Christmas, we couldn't have asked for a greater gift than life itself. You and Chick must be over the moon with your new grandson, as we are with ours, and all our grandchildren.

Best wishes to you and your family :D

Julie

Thank you for your congratulations, Nigel. Ben already has his "First Christmas" ball on the tree. How do you add a gif.picture to your message? Your Christmas tree attachment is great. Best wishes to you and your family for the festive season.

Thanks for your wishes, L.S. and Nigel.

Thanks for the reminder, Nigel, I must buy the first babies Christmas ball. :D

I'm baby-sitting the new born this afternoon a couple of hours whilst Sarah goes to the usual school plays. Hope I remember what to do
