Thank you for your kind words, Ming and Philip. They are greatly appreciated. Christmas will indeed be a special one this year. :D :D
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

Excuse me for my ignorance, Somita, but what does "u n ur" mean??? :?

I think it must be "you and your", but then, I could be wrong.

For I never understood, or even try to understand, what is the meaning of the new lingo known as text-speak...
"A holiday — a mystery — an adventure — and a happy ending for dear old Barney!" said Roger. "What more could anyone want?"
"An ice cream," said Snubby promptly. "Who's coming to buy one?" The Rubadub Mystery

"For you and your", it is. :)

I'm one of those people who type really fast and always in proper English even while chatting with my friends, and so they get a bit of a surprise when I suddenly start the text speak lingo when I sign in on my phone - I'm rather slow on the phone pad and can't stand the time it takes. So even if I do bash text speak online, I must say I use it sometimes - double standards, eh.

I must say, I can never use the phone pad (if I have a phone! I don't have one for me of course.) I just can't get used to it. That's why I haven't given even a single SMS to anybody! And I will never write in this lingo, it's just not me. :D
