Back To School!

Post by Pippa-Stef »

If I was a Malory Towers or St Clare's girl, I couldn't wait to get back to school. I actually felt that way this time last year after eleven weeks off!

Now though, I'm not all that keen. I've got one week left, I'm not in the slightest bit ready! I haven't re-written what little of my personal statement, since my grades went down the pan, and I don't know what's happening next year the way things stand!

As you can see I'm not looking forward to going back.

But I suppose, it allows people to access the Games threads again!

"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

You might start to feel a little more positive about going back after next week Steph. As for the games, well you'll still be able to join in of an evening won't you. :D

My little grand-daughter Stephanie, goes back into infant 2. She's only tiny, and the youngest in the whole Junior school. It doesn't seem 5 minutes, since I was taking her for her first day. And little Brynley, who's been doing two hours in the afternoon, at nursery, starts his morning nursery school, for 2 and 1/2hours to prepare him for his infant school.
How time flies, much too quickly at the moment.

Sorry things are so uncertain, Pippa-Stef. Once you do go back, though, you'll be in a position to talk things through, sort things out and make decisions. Hopefully then things will begin to look brighter!

Anita

Edit: Sorry to have used the word "things" so many times!!

I hope you're right Anita. Knowing my luck at the moment, it'll be anything but easy.

It may not be easy but hopefully you'll be able to talk to someone who will help. At least when you're back at school you'll be able to do something, instead of worrying about what might or might not happen. All the best with it all!

One thing is for certain; in years to come you will look back on this period and think, "What was I worried about?"

All will come well. :D

Hehe, I'm someone who moaned about school, and ended up loving it! It'll be fine, Steph.

I have always loved school, not to the extent certain Blyton characters loved it. But then again, real-life school is not that fun. :(

I'm an university student right now, and I am really excited because my classes start in 2 weeks, eheh. :)

you're completely right there, real school is much less fun compared to malory towers. I could bathe in the swimming pool in the summer and play tricks on our french teacher! By the way steph, you said you got eleven weeks holiday, I only got 6! :(
