Happy Birthday Lenoir!
Have a smashuper day, Lenoir! We'll all be trooping down to your shed later on laden with sandwiches, rock buns, ginger biscuits, orangeade and exciting-looking parcels wrapped up in brown paper and string. If you're lucky, maybe you'll receive a toy aeroplane, a Red Indian outfit, a fat book about ships, a tin of toffees and a new tunnel for your railway set. Oh, and a jigsaw puzzle which we can all do together while waiting for a nice juicy mystery to come along.

Happy Birthday! Have a good one!
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

Re: Happy Birthday Lenoir!
Thanks everyone! Nice to see this.
I had a smashuper day, and a late night!
I took some friends to watch a football match between Manchester Utd (some of you may have heard of them!) and Kaizer Chiefs (the SA football club, not the band!).

I’ve also forgotten it, must be old age! Better ask Susie, she’s the only one who will know it anyway!Anita Bensoussane wrote:Now, what was the password...?

Happy birthday, Lenoir.
Have a wonderful day but go easy on the rock buns and ginger-beer, and watch out for Jack's annoying sister Susie!

Happy Birthday, indeed, Lenoir......
and may you acquire at least two reasonably-priced treasures [one of them a Cherrys book, naturally] at booksales during the coming year, whilst successfully staying clear of the swine 'flu....
