I had a phone call and an email this afternoon - any takers?
Dear Tony,
We’re producing a new quiz for BBC Four called ‘Only Connect’.
We are looking for a team of three literature enthusiasts to take part in this general knowledge quiz.
I was wondering if you could pass this information on to anyone you think may be interested.
Here is a little more information on the quiz.
NEW BBC FOUR QUIZ – TEAMS REQUIRED.
A new quiz is coming to BBC Four, and Presentable Ltd are looking for teams of three to take up the challenge.
We’re looking for teams with great general knowledge, an aptitude for lateral thinking and a keen eye for spotting connections to take part in the quiz which is presented by Victoria Coren (Balderdash and Piffle, The Observer).
It’s a challenging yet fun quiz that requires teams to work well together. Expenses are paid.
For further information or an application form contact Ifan Tomos on ifan@presentable.co.uk" target="_blank
Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and U.K. residents.
Kind regards,
Ifan

Re: Anyone for Telly?
I would love to, but I'm 10 months too young!
Damn it!
Damn it!
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

Re: Anyone for Telly?
I would love to do it, but my lateral thinking is rubbish, and getting down to wherever it takes place (London?) might be a bit problematic. Oh well.
