Sorry you've had further bad news after having got yourself mentally prepared for tomorrow, Sue. The waiting must be very difficult but rest assured that they're only doing what is best for you.

All the best,
Anita

Oh, Sue, so sorry to hear your update. What a disappointment and it's scary for you too. Hope your new operation date comes through quickly.

Sorry to hear this Sue, just when you'd got yourself sited to go into hospital. But I agree with Lenoir. This can only be for the best in the long time. I'm sure you'll still be fine, and up and running before you know it.

Best wishes.

It's an ill wind, Sue, that blows no good. I would think you would get the best treatment at the City Hospital, so it might be a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately, in this neck of the woods anyway, the cancelling of operations happens frequently. At least your cancellation is due to you getting better or more appropriate treatment at a specialist hospital.

Good luck, old thing - I'll blow a wish at the next full moon! :)

hi guys , thanks for your helpful messages and thoughts , the cancer has gone deeper than was thought and the surgeon is not able to do it if it has gone more than halfway .a specialist has to do it so waiting now to see this big professor at city . than date should be settled for op. :) sue

Seeing a specialist is the best thing you could do at this stage Sue. My Mum had a specialist who treated her all the way through her cancer and she has made a complete recovery and is fine. She said that having a specialist was the best thing that could have happened. It must be frustrating to have to wait a bit longer but I am sure it will be worth it.
