'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

But we were talking about Supermarkets, and that is all I was referring too, nothing else, so don't jump down my throat please!

Hmmm, the way the threads are in the list at the moment (in order of most recently posted in), the top one is "What makes you annoyed?" and directly beneath it is "Football". For me, at least, that says something...

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I've never seen a petrol station with an attendant to fill your car. Maybe if we did still have those it would prevent all those snarled up traffic jams caused by people who fail to understand that the hose is long and flexible enough to reach the opposite side of all but the largest of vehicles.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

That is fairly representative of the state of England's football skills lately, Pete!...
