Thanks very much for the birthday wishes - I've really enjoyed reading them. It's lovely to receive birthday greetings from fellow Blytonians. Thanks too to those who sent me cards, etc. Yours hasn't come yet, Julie, but I always leave my cards up for quite a long time so it'll go up on the mantelpiece as soon as it arrives.

Remembering our discussion of caterpillar cakes (a couple of years ago), I decided to try Tesco's 'Curly the Caterpillar' for my birthday. I've never had any of the caterpillar cakes before so I don't know how it compares to its rivals, but it's gorgeously chocolatey. I had a relaxing afternoon watching a couple of episodes of Series 4 of Manifest, and I've also been reading The Circus Marches by Robert Martin.
