What a great greeting! Fatty is also a goat, and Poppy and Deej too of course, so we're in good company.Robert Houghton wrote:Happy Birthday Anita, to a fellow goat!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Happy Birthday Anita!!
This time of year does seem to have produced a bumper crop of Blytonians! It's not long until Robert Houghton's birthday either.
Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes. It's really lovely to read them. Tomorrow is my son's birthday but he'll be busy all day (school and a chess match), so we celebrated both our birthdays over the weekend. Last night we went out for a meal at a Toby Carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it, and today we had a walk in the woods and I finished making our birthday cake. One of my presents was a book called Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey - The Lost Legacy of Highclere Castle by the Countess of Carnarvon. I'd like to visit Highclere Castle one of these days so it'll be interesting to find out about its history.

Re: Happy Birthday Anita!!
Strange how many of us Blyton fans have birthdays around this time of the year! Sounds like you had a good birthday, Anita - and I like the sound of your present too. It would be really interesting to visit 'the real Downton Abbey'
