Wow! Suddenly everything else seems grey too - I can't find the edit, reply, quote or delete buttons even. I'm lost!!

It still looks the same as usual to me, Ming old thing. Hope your computer will be behaving itself again by the next time you log on!

That happened to me a few times, Ming. Only mine looked pale grey and all the words were almost on top of each other. But the computer upstairs showed the site as fine. So I cleared all my history browsers, and cleared the c drive, turned off and started again. It was then fine.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

This problem has been reported in the past, but it's definitely a computer issue and I'm glad you have it sorted now, Ming. I'd love to see a screenshot next time it happens though -- I'm mystified by the description of "all grey" and maybe a screenshed will shot light on it. Just for my own curiosity's sake.
Nigel, I love that emoticon!! "Idiot outside..." Hehe! I have it saved now, and am sure I'll use it sometime...

That's how mine also looked, Ming, but the wording is readable on yours, for me it was over lapping onto the next sentences.

Re: February 2009 - site moved to new server
Imagine my surprise when I logged on my brother's 1280 screen laptop and found that the forums were all gray/grey! I then went back to the desktop, and it worked fine. Interesting to see the difference in resolution though. I think I like 1024x768 better! The width of the site looks ridiculously small in 1280 resolution.

Re: February 2009 - site moved to new server
My screen went all grey like that a couple of years ago. I remember it only seemed to happen to me and a couple of others, and I think everyone else thought we had gone mad!!
It suddenly righted itself for me, and has been okay ever since (fingers crossed!)

My screen went just like that again. I was signed on, and all the post and reply buttons had disappeared. I signed out and signed back in and it was back to normal again.

Hey Keith: I think the 'new' banner on the forums is a great improvement on the Famous Five 'box': it looks really good, and its nice to see Mr P.W up there along with the other characters!

Re: February 2009 - site moved to new server
Yes, it does look good; my only problem is that it takes too much to load, and even then, as with the dustwrapper problem I mentioned recently, it only loads half. Oh, my internet!
"The Enid Blyton Society" written in the banner looks smaller comparatively. But yet it matches perfectly.
All in all, a great improvement, Keith.
Edit: It's loading perfectly now, too.

Just noticed that, and was going to post on it when I noticed Rob had beaten me to it. Goon and Pink-Whistle as the dominant characters, eh? Footnote: I love the way you just have to click anywhere on the banner to access the Home Page.
