I am being really thick but who did the colourings in ? Is that you (Pete) or Eileen Soper herself as the only ones I have in colour are in red or blue. They are really great. I don't like the Betty Maxwell ones. There is a depressing quality about them. As for the current cartoon ones - they are just an affront. Even I can draw better than that, and I can't draw. They remind me of that dreadful Quentin Blake who seems to have done loads. Either he genuinely cannot draw and has somehow fooled people into thinking he can, or he has decided to hide his talents.
You'll never wear your own brains out, Mr. Goon - you don't use them enough !
