I'm not too keen on all the dark lines in the horse picture but it's fascinating to see the different styles Betty Maxey experimented with, Pete.

It does look like the same lady. What an eye-catching picture. The white space in the top right and bottom left corners concentrates our gaze in the centre, making the whole thing seem very cosy and intimate.
