Joyce Johnson

Post by Johnson »

I have a letter from a Joyce Johnson and wondered if anyone could confirm the writing and signature is of Joyce Johnson the illustrator.
Whilst on holiday many years ago in the Cotswold's there was an elderly couple sitting outside our cottage sketching the local church, not being a very nice day and they were looking cold we invited them in for a cup of tea.
Sometime after we got home from the holiday a parcel arrived for us and it was the original water colour of the church and a nice note thanking us for the tea, it was signed by Joyce Johnson.
From my investigations so far, I now believe this could have been this illustrator.

I'm no expert on signatures but that's a lovely story, Paul, and it would be nice if it turned out that the Joyce Johnson you met was Joyce Johnson the illustrator.
