Hate the modern illustrations in today's Malory Towers books

The pictures on those covers were taken from Ruth Gervis's illustrations for the "Caravan Family" series, Nigel. Very strange that they were reused in that way. Some of them were slightly altered for the Malory Towers books.

I thought that blue cover was somehow familiar!

The cover of the 2006 with the two girls look like they've just had botox!! :|
