I can't say I've ever seen anything written about when Phyllis Chase died. She took part in a BBC radio programme in 1975 so she was still around then.
Though listed as Phyllis Chase her married name was Phyllis Samuel. I don't know this for sure, (don't have a current subscription) but Ancestry records suggest to me that she married Felix Samuel in Sussex and he died in 1967 in London. It is unlikely she remarried if Barbara Stoney refers to her as Mrs. Phyllis Samuel in 1974, in which case, if she remained in the area, she most likely died around 1977. That is what the records seem to indicate anyway. Perhaps someone else knows more?
