The Whiskers Annual Illustrator

Post by mooremelj »

My dad has recently come across a copy of "The Whiskers Annual". 1951 or 52.
The illustrator's signature is Gywnne. we think the surname is Price but are not 100% sure.
We have searched for him on the Internet but cannot find a single piece of information on him.
He illustrated for The Daily Sketch.
Does anyone know anything about him or where information could be gotten from?
Thanks!

Welcome, Mooremelj. I don't have any details, but a search in the Cave of Books has confirmed that the name was indeed Gwynne Price and that s/he (Gwynne sounds like a Welsh name to me and may possibly be female rather than male) illustrated some of Enid Blyton's work in the Daily Sketch & Sunday Graphic:
