Richard Jones illustrations are not car-tonic but they look like as if famous five had picture taken through camera.
He did illustrations for Famous five and Hardy boys. i still more like Eileen Soper but Richard Jones also good.

There are some nice book covers there by various artists, especially Frank Varty and Russell H. Tandy. But we can only see Richard Jones' Hardy Boys covers on that page - not his Famous Five ones. They are in the Cave though.
