Five Delve Into the Past

Post by Tony Summerfield »

This is exactly what it sounds like on the 'outside of the tin' - a Famous Five continuation book. For those of you who enjoyed the two parts of 'Anne Kirrin's Journal' in our Journals 62 and 63 (shortly before she died Sheila Ray told me that article alone was worth the price of a year's subscription!), this is an 18-chapter story about the discovery of the Journal and some of the subsequent events that occurred.

Because the weekly serial spot on the website is fully booked until well into next year I have decided to put this into the Continuation section on the website in the same way as I did with Bill's Diaries. This will be a little bit different as I won't load the whole book in one go. It will be in six parts, each part containing three chapters. To get things under way I have already loaded the first two parts.

I'm beginning to read it, I really like it!

Thank you so much. I am interested in everything FF.
When will you download (or is it upload? I never know  ) Part III?
I just printed out the first two parts = 6 chapters.

If it's as good as Anne Kirrin's Journal we're in for a treat. I'm looking forward to reading it.

How fantastic - Would it be against the law if it was ever produced as a private magazine/book etc not for sale?

Yes, I thought you mentioned a while back you and Dick were working on something. Here's more, to a great working partnership. :)

Congratulations, Ilsa and Christian - and a very good idea, Tony. This is really good and I look forward to reading more. I always find these 'family background' add-ons for favourite literary characters intriguing.
