Yes, it is! We've read some Noddy, one of the modern Christmas story collections and the Holiday Story collection, but I judged he was ready for some longer Blytons and where better to start than the first Famous Five? I'm so relieved that he's enjoying it.

I'm glad he likes it. I remember loving the word "ingots" and saying it over and over to myself.
