It's not a mistake either. The book was listed but ran out unsurprisingly without a bid. It's been relisted, so the seller has not put the dot in the wrong place .

After relisting it four times with no bites at that price the seller has now dropped it to a slightly more reasonable £150!

It's a sad state of affairs that the cost of living crisis means people are now having to think twice about going on eBay to buy an Enid book for a measly £15,000.

I don't know what possessed the seller to list it so high. I have never seen a book anywhere near that price, not even a first edition Five on a Treasure Island in an extremely decent jacket!

Perhaps they forgot to put the decimal point in the original posting and the system took it to be £15,000 instead of £150.00. They might have decided to then sit it out and see if anybody was stupid enough to pay it.

I thought that too BB but they relisted it four times at 15,000! You might make a mistake with the decimal point on the first listing and not notice, but surely if that ended with no bids and you realised what had happened you'd correct it before relisting?!
