I won this book for £7.17 including delivery and it arrived this morning very well packaged by the seller.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Omnibus in dj
Thanks, Courtenay.
I actually made my bid whilst sat in my car outside the hospital before I went in to visit Enid last Thursday. Enid finally came home yesterday after what seemed like an endless four weeks in there.

Well done John and delighted to hear the great news that Enid was discharged yesterday after four weeks in hospital. It must be such a relief to have her home again and I am sure that Freddie and Suki are very pleased too.

Re: Omnibus in dj
Thanks, Monique. Yes, it is a relief having Enid home again. However, I still have lots to do and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day, despite having four visits from carers daily, although I am sure things will improve as the days go by. I am sure Freddie and Suki are pleased as well, though Suki tends to sleep all day and I'm not sure she has noticed yet.

Thanks John, and hopefully things will improve as the days go by and you will find some time to relax. Suki will get a great surprise when she wakes up!!!

That's wonderful news, John! I'm sure Enid must be relieved to be back home too and I hope things do improve as she settles back in.

Re: Omnibus in dj
Thank you, Courtenay. I'm sure things will improve, despite a few ups and downs over these first few days. The wonderful carers coming in regularly are a real help, as is our daughter who is also a carer - although not with the same agency.
