That's the version I've got, the boards have the same picture as the dj. I wonder why they decided to do that with this one but not the others? :?

Very nice! Thanks for the link, Sixret! Its one of the Bedside Books I don't have in a wrapper (or in any version!) so I might keep an eye on it. However, I'm sure it will fetch more than just £9.00 eventually! :-(

I'll warm me with your echoes

I reckon this one will go up and up. There are two bidders, and one person has already bid three times. Its still only £18.51 but 22 hours to go!

I can never understand why people start bidding so early - it only forces the price up!

It went for £22. I don't personally think that's a bad price for one of the bedside books really as even without a dust jacket (or one in bad condition!) most of them seem to be quite high compared to other books without jackets.

Looks like your comment about '22 hours to go', Rob, was a prediction of the price it would sell for. :D

:-D

It did go for a fair price in the end. Hope whoever won it appreciates it! I'm trying not to spend so much lately...and I just don't need these books enough to justify the cost right now!

I agree, Rob. The satisfaction of watching our money increases outweighs the satisfaction of getting the books! I am so happy looking at my bank balance now. I almost don’t use/withdraw the money in my bank(my working salary is directly transferred into my account monthly) because I pay all the bills and my monthly expenditure using the money I get from tutoring. I even manage to save some of the tutoring pay in the bank! I also sell books now(not via Ebay but through local online book market).

I rarely buy books now. I only need two or three more Blyton books to complete my collection. I wait patiently but I will bid as high as I possibly can if the books appear online.
