Very good - even in that condition, which isn't bad for such a scarce book! I wonder how much it will end up going for? I would bid, but I am expecting it to reach around £50 at least!
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Bad listing. Potential buyers could not find “seaside cottage” by typing it in the search box. May have a chance to win. Good luck!

True - I hadn't noticed that - 'vintage enid blyton books' is hardly a useful heading!

I stumbled upon it just because it was a "suggested item" at the end of other item's page.

I wasn't around to bid in the end - hope it went to a deserving Society Member! :D

There will always be another copy being listed, Rob. Hope you will get it eventually. :D

£20.00 was a bargain! Well done to the winner. :D

I did bid £12.00 last week but there were three other bidders at the end, and I wasn't around to up my bid! It still went very cheaply in my opinion!

My gosh that went cheap! I paid six times that for a copy and the one I saw before it went for double that again! I suppose it's because the title was too vague for many to have picked up on it, I bet it would have gone a lot higher otherwise. Someone's had a real bargain that's for sure!

I bid, lost out in the last seconds :(
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Frustrating! I hate it when that happens! You think you've got it - then - bang! I usually avoid last minute bidding because I get too on edge, lol!

I really hope someone on here won it!

I might have won it but I was using the app on my phone. I bid £15, and then thought maybe I should increase it but by the time I found the 'increase bid' button (it was up at the top above the listing name etc!) I only had time to hit the pre-set options, the highest being 19. If I'd had time I would have typed in more.
