Re: THE PUT-EM-RIGHTS & THE HIDEY-HOLE - 1ST EDITIONS
I really, really hope someone won these from the EB society, because they finally went for only £3.99.
I had watched them for a week and I bid £15.00. But I fell foul of our terrible internet connection. It went round and round and round and round and wouldn't load my bid. This continued for the last thirty seconds of the available time...then of course it opened on a page that said 'this bid has now ended'. Typical! So someone got a bargain...but it wasn't me!

Hard lines Rob. Our internet has been rather capricious today. It is maddening.

It was annoying, but 'them's the breaks' lol! I was going to sell The Hidey Hole, as I have a very good DW copy - but was going to keep the first edition Put-Em-Rights, as the edition I have is the later one from the 1950's with different DW and no full-colour plate.
