The characters in that one look pretty scary, especially Big-Ears... I think we should buy it for Anita, just to give her nightmares.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I have never really considered these Arrow jigsaws as vintage, but I suppose that this is only one year off being 50 years old!!

I have three or four of the Arrow Noddy puzzles - mainly for nostalgia reasons, as we had a couple of them as kids. :-D
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

(Edit: No, actually, it can't be... Sooty doesn't have legs and feet. )

Actually, Sooty does have legs and feet, lol! ;-) He also dresses similarly to the bear in the Noddy puzzle!

Never seemed to have 'em when I used to watch him on the telly, for some reason. There was a joke the Two Ronnies once made in one of their news bulletins — something to the effect of: "Police are investigating a burglary committed by Sooty. Harry Corbett is rumoured to have had a hand in it."
